Where is HLA-1 primarily found?

HLA-1 (Human Leukocyte Antigen Class I) molecules are primarily located on almost all nucleated cells in the body. This widespread distribution is crucial for their function, as HLA-1 molecules play a vital role in the immune response by presenting peptide fragments derived from proteins within the cell to CD8+ T cells.
